LAHORE: Want to explore and learn fundamentals of data journalism? This free online course, being offered for the first time in Pakistan, might be of your interest!
With August 20, 2018 deadline to register, the course “Fundamentals of Data Journalism” for ‘selected’ applicants only, will start on August 27.
A Pakistani not-for-profit Media Matters for Democracy (MMfD), which works on media development and digital rights advocacy, is offering this six-week course.
As per the organizers, Pakistani journalists from anywhere in Pakistan are eligible to apply for the course designed for beginners who want to learn the basics of data journalism.
Due to limited seats, registration for the course does not guarantee enrollment. However, final decision on acceptance or rejection would be communicated to the applicants by August 23, 2018.
