As many as 79, 801 (8 percent) more students appeared in the Secondary School Certificate (Matriculation) Annual Examination 2016 in all the nine examination boards of Punjab as compared to the last year.
The overall pass percentage was 72 percent last year with Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Multan on top with 74 percent pass percentage. This time, however, BISE Dera Ghazi Khan leads the ranking with highest pass percentage (77) percent.
